  • Yes. The cottage includes a dedicated office library specifically designed for remote working, offering a quiet, productive space away from the main living areas.

  • The cottage is equipped with fibre optic broadband and a wifi 6 router.

  • There is ample on-street parking directly outside on South Street. While heavy goods lorries are excluded, standard transit vans and all regular passenger vehicles are perfectly fine

  • Yes, all essential utilities including central heating, water, electricity, and high-speed internet are fully included in your bespoke rate.

  • Yes. All major supermarkets deliver directly to the cottage door. Large supermarkets are available within a ten minute drive.

  • Yes. The cottage is fully equipped for long-term living, featuring a washing machine and a dishwasher with a drying function.

  • Hinton St George hosts a community run village store and Post Office, which stock essentials and local produce. The Lord Poulett Arms is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am. The village also has a church, village hall and cricket pitch.

  • Yes! We are dog-friendly and provide a purpose-built snug in the sitting room specifically for your furry friend. We just ask that four-legged guests stay on the ground floor.

  • The cottage is can easily accommodate one dog. If you require more dogs please get in contact and we can make arrangements.

  • The nearest train station is Crewkerne Station (10 mins drive) which goes into Waterloo London (approx 3 Hours).

    Castle Cary Station (35 Mins Drive) goes into Paddington London (approx 2 hours)

  • You will be supplied with a basket a basket of logs. You can buy logs from the village shop and from “The Trading Post” which is a five minute drive away.

  • Yes there are a few, but you must book them far in advance. Here are some suggestions other are available.
